About
Class Project
2028

The Wilton Class Projects originated in 1982, initiated by the parents of the Class of 1988 under the Wilton Youth Action Committee. Today, these projects thrive under the umbrella of the Wilton Youth Council. The original mission remains as pertinent now as it was then: to forge avenues for positive choices and substance-free fun for teens, while also creating opportunities for parents to connect during a phase in their child’s life when it becomes more challenging.

Over the next five years, Class Project 2028 will host informational, social, community service, and fundraising events catering to both parents and students, culminating in senior year when dedicated parent volunteers organize the grand Post-Graduation Party (PGP) for the students. These projects offer a great opportunity to build connections.

The PGP promises an exciting, secure, inclusive, and substance-free all-night lock-in event. Originally held at Middlebrook School, where the entire community was invited for a preview, the event made a bold move to Chelsea Piers in 2018!

Class Projects extend a warm welcome to everyone in Wilton preparing to graduate in 2028, regardless of the school you attend. And for those who switched schools and re-classed, you're still invited to participate in Class Project 2028 events and PGP – just keep in mind, it's a one-time VIP pass!

If you know a student not attending WPS who wishes to be part of the action, kindly direct them our way. Let's make this journey a memorable experience for everyone!

POST GRADUATION PARTY (PGP)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS....

WILL MY CHILD WILL GO?

Historically, 98% of the Class attends PGP!  They may not know it now, but they will want to go! Everyone has a place at PGP.  The nostalgia and excitement encourages kids to reconnect, just as they are about to move on.

DO THEY REALLY STAY ALL NIGHT?

Students are transferred  to Chelsea Piers by a Coach bus that departs/returns to Middlebrook.  The party is a great time on its own, and we insure they remain on-site by offering raffle items with value increasing as the night goes on!

WHERE DO OUR CONTRIBUTION GO?

Your contributions fund the party keeping ticket prices as low as possible.  Fundraising accounts for about 50% of total event costs.

HOW MUCH DOES ATTENDING PGP COST?

Ticket prices vary from year to year based on fundraising efforts.Your ticket will cover the entire PGP event- transportation, food, entertainment and prizes. Finacial assistance is available; NO student will be denied the opportunity to attend.

ALL NIGHT? HOW CAN I HELP?

There's many opportunities to help starting now and through PGP.  Check back for fundraising events and contact us for volunteer opportunities!
